At the General Assembly (GA) on 3 July, the IAPMR leadership team stood for re-election for another three-year term (2024-2027), with a new Vice President joining: Krisztina Rozgonyi will take over this role from Minna Aslama Horowitz, who has decided to leave the team. Besides, Dominik Speck has joined the team as Vice Secretary. We thank Minna for her invaluable support over the past three years and welcome Krisztina and Dominik to the team.
The team now consists of the following members:
- Co-Presidents: Alessandro D’Arma and Maria Michalis, University of Westminster
- Vice President: Krisztina Rozgonyi, Institute for Comparative Media and Communication Studies of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) and University of Klagenfurt (AAU)
- Treasurer: Michael-Bernhard Zita, Paris Lodron University of Salzburg
- Secretary & Communications: Marta Rodríguez-Castro, University of Santiago de Compostela
- Vice Secretary & Early Career Scholars: Dominik Speck, TU Dortmund University
Gregory Ferrell Lowe (Northwestern University in Qatar) and Florence Hartmann (European Broadcasting Union) will continue to support the leadership team as RIPE Chairperson and Industry Liaison Officer, respectively.
