The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Nova University (Lisbon, Portugal), Porto University (Porto, Portugal) and the University of Santiago de Compostela (Santiago, Spain) join forces to organize next year\u2019s conference in partnership with R\u00e1dio e Televis\u00e3o de Portugal (RTP), Portugal\u2019s public service broadcaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topic for RIPE@2024 is&nbsp;<strong>Public Service Media for Innovation and Sustainability.<\/strong>&nbsp;In this regard, the organizers welcome paper proposals that address the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What PSM is doing to restore&nbsp;<strong>trust in news<\/strong>&nbsp;and information and how to improve<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What PSM is doing and needs to do to support and facilitate&nbsp;<strong>sustainability<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Projects and achievements in the pursuit of&nbsp;<strong>innovation<\/strong>&nbsp;in PSM organizations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PSM as national organizations in the context of&nbsp;<strong>global media systems<\/strong>&nbsp;and competition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What the&nbsp;<strong>next generation needs<\/strong>&nbsp;and should expect from PSM providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The submission of abstracts (max. 700 words) is open until<strong>\u00a0<s>January 14, 2024<\/s><\/strong> <strong>February 25, 2024 (Deadline extended)<\/strong>.\u00a0Full papers are due May 5, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1osLymz9-lCrndbjo7h4O0NJsUTDIWNbI\/view?fbclid=IwAR3URvuyKMJ0Pnl8RR8AzOfitkZ7x8sYrvF4RPzNzB1gdM1u42BRW6xcCnw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Check the CfP here<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The forthcoming&nbsp;RIPE@2024 Conference&nbsp;will take place in&nbsp;Lisbon, Portugal,&nbsp;from the 16th to the 18th of May, 2024.
